MSc sound design & digital composition students from The University of Edinburgh were invited to compose and design sound for the waiting area in Traverse Theatre as a part of Manipulate - Visual Theatre Festival 2011. The compositions from students were presented in the three-storey staircase and four speakers were set up vertically in the middle of the stairs so that the sound can go through those four speakers actively.
