'Space' was recalled by Imaginate and presented again in Traverse Theatre. Pippa Murphy provided the sound files and Andrew O'Dowd designed the flex sensor to be wearable. The performance at Imaginate was adjusted especially for young audience.
Space is an interactive sound and dance collaboration with Skye Reynolds. I designed and programed sound in MAX MSP using distance detecting sensors (Ultrasonic sensor) on the wall and a game controller (Gametrak) to connect the space through sound with the dancers' movement. Space was performed at Dance Base in Edinburgh during the dance festival "Love Dance 2010".
